41. Critical Thinking
Reflexive: L || L
False, reflexive property only involves one line. A line cannot be parallel to the line itself.
Symmetric: If L || M, then M || L
True, L || m so they do not intersect with one another.
Transitive:If L || M and M || N, then L || N.
True, they are all parallel to each other.

If both of the lines are perpendicular to the same exact line then it makes the two lines parallel. One line is on the side of the ladder while the lines that are perpendicular are the two rungs.
23. Critical Thinking
The slope of a line perpendicular to AB with slope m's product will be -1/m. If the slope of AB reaches 0, then the slope of the line perpendicular to AB must reach - infinity. If the slope of AB reaches 1, the slope perpendicular to it becomes -1. The slope should be - infinity > -1/m > 0.
24. Write About It
The speed of the 2 cars are the slopes the cars make when they are moving. Due to the cars moving at the same speed, they also create the same slope which makes them parallel to each other.
2 ways to determine the slope of a line
1. Use slope formula "Y2 - Y1/ X2 - X1"
2. You can also use this formula " Y = MX +B"
Pairs of parallel and perpendicular lines
Their slopes both involve 2 lines and for each graph, both the lines fall on one plane.
In conclusion, reflexive, symmetric, and transitive properties for slopes have different reasons for being true or false and parallel and perpendicular lines have similarities too! Thank you for taking time to view my blog :) Happy new years once again!
